Scores

I got a 94% on my first paper!
Maybe not a big deal for all you smarties out there, but this is almost record for me.
Too bad it's a paper. Those usually go alright for me. It's the tests that I really need those 94's on.
Still waiting to here on those all of those but the Family History test. I got an B+ on that. So not amazing, but honestly, I'll take all the 85%'s you want to throw at me! Hopefully tomorrow and Wednesday will bring me the results for the other 3 tests.
Cross your fingers!

Tests

I'm waiting for results on 4 tests right now. Three history tests and one for my family history class. I don't like waiting. I want to know how I did right now! Luckily, I feel like I did pretty ok on all of them!
This is a new feeling for me. I don't know how it took me 3 1/2 years to figure this out, but 12 credits and working 20-25 hours is the perfect balance for me. I have time to get all my homework done as long as I actually put forth effort. I am working enough, but not too much, so things are pretty comfortable right now.
I have enough extra to go out to eat with friends occasionally and to have fun (I just have horrible memories of last fall when this wasn't the case. Haha. Or not...)
School is good. Life is good. Today was a good day. Don't you love that?

Roommates!

I have the best roommates ever. Ashlee, Katy, and Berkeley! These girls are so sweet and giving. They are funny and fun to be with, and for some reason (I haven't figured this out yet) they love me! I am so lucky to be with these wonderful girls. They teach me so much and love me in spite of my mistakes and flaws. We have finally figured this roommate thing out. It only took me 3 1/2 years, but hey, whatever works, right?

This week was a busy one for me. I had several projects and a couple of tests, but lucky for me I loved through it just fine (I think I did ok on my tests and papers) and still had time to watch The Office, go to our ward soccer game, get frozen hot chocolate (Dairy Queen, it's an awesome treat), and visit a dance party (Katy and I were only there for about 30 seconds, but still, we went). And I spent a record amount of time in the library. I think I was there probably close to 12 hours this week (M-TH that is). Oh my. I think they should name it after me. No one should spend that much time there.... But I got lots done, played a few pranks while there, so overall it was very effective for me.

I've become obsessed with BYU FOOTBALL, and I'm excited for the game today! But it's freezing right now. I'm looking out the window and it's a mixture of rain, snow, and hail... True football fans don't care about the weather though. I'm trying to figure out how many jackets and quilts I can bring without people making too much fun of me. Go BYU. We'll rock Eastern Washington!

Old Friends

I love it when you see an old friend! Someone who has moved on to bigger and better things, someone who has a real job and a real life, but they come back to visit! This happened last Thursday when I went to our ward boys' intramural soccer game. Who else but the lovely Amy Chaston! Man, I love that girl. She reminds me of so many good times, like the sleepover at her new apartment, or playing the ten fingers game at Coldstone. She definately won that round!
I think the thing that I love most is that two people can be so different, and in very different phases of their life, but when you see them again (and it doesn't have to be Amy), it doesn't matter. You are still friends like you always have been!

Normality

Mine is a life of the average college student. I am a student in my 4th year at BYU. I work about twenty-five hours a week for an optometrist. I live with 4 great girls in a great ward.

I like to think I'm pretty normal. But that's very open to interpretation.

Lately, I like practical jokes, like turning up the volume on someone's phone and then calling them. In the library. Where it is dead silent... haha. Or ask Andrew about that one time when we ordered that one thing online for that one person. I don't know if it ever came... bummer.

Oh well, I'm having tons of fun being a student, being single, being a girl, and being all sorts of other things. Couldn't ask for better!
